Pirelli select Soft & Mediums after extensive simulation

Mexican Grand Prix – Pirelli are bringing their Soft & Medium compounds to the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez this weekend. Since the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez hasn't been used as a Formula 1 venue since 1992, Pirelli have had to get inventive to decide which compounds to bring to the Mexican circuit. Having analysed the circuit, they say that the circuit's fast straights and rapid corners makes it similar to Monza and have selected the same compounds as their home circuit But, with no real data available for use, they have made heavy use of computer simulation to decide on their two compounds. “It’s very exciting for us to come to Mexico, to a brand new circuit but one that is...
