Magnussen deserves an F1 driver Boullier

Eric Boullier says he would like nothing more than to see Kevin Magnussen continue competing in Formula 1 after being released from his McLaren contract. After weeks of speculation, the Dane was formally dropped by McLaren earlier this month after failing to land a drive with the team for the 2016 season. Having risen through the ranks as a McLaren junior development driver, Magnussen made his F1 debut with the team in 2014 but despite proving popular with bosses, the signing of Fernando Alonso pitched him into a head-to-head with Jenson Button over the remaining seat. With McLaren choosing Button, Magnussen stayed on board as McLaren's reserve driver with a view to being promoted again...
