Ricciardo: Red Bull lacked pace in dry
Red Bull/Getty Images Daniel Ricciardo has admitted that Red Bull lacked the pace to compete with the front runners once conditions dried at the United States Grand Prix. Ricciardo was among the front pack on Intermediate tyres early on and briefly claimed the lead, though dropped back through the field once slick tyres were fitted, eventually finishing 10th. "The beginning was really fun between both Mercedes and both Red Bulls," he said. "It was a good four-way battle. To see the Mercedes not getting away from us was awesome. I was enjoying that.
