Carlos Sainz Jr: “We have the pace to move forward”

Carlos Sainz Jr was naturally disappointed after spinning out of qualifying at the Circuit of the Americas and creating work for his mechanics to do in the three-hours before the start of the race after damaging the front end of his car. The Scuderia Toro Rosso driver lost control at turn three on just his second quick lap, appearing to hit and kerb and hitting the barriers, with the Spaniard apologising to his team for the accident, which he believes will make him stronger in the long run.
