Massa: Right decision to stop qualifying

Felipe Massa believes the FIA made the right decision in cancelling the final segment of qualifying, due to the heavy rain at the Circuit of the Americas. The grid for today's United States Grand Prix was decided by Q2 times and the drop-zone from Q1. Qualifying was postponed to Sunday morning because of bad weather on Saturday. Massa was ninth fastest in Q2 but will start the race in seventh due to penalties for Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen. 'It was a very difficult qualifying,' he said. 'It is clear to see our improvements in the wet as we have made it into the top 10 which shows progress, although we want to be up at the top. 'It was a good choice to red flag the final session....
