Austin FP3: Hamilton fastest as rain persists

Lewis Hamilton clocked the fastest time in the rain drenched final free practice session for the United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas, and the time might see him start the race from pole position should weather prevent the running of qualifying. Hamilton was the only driver to dip below the two minute mark, with the best time of 1:59.517 in slippery conditions accompanied by almost constant rain or drizzle f=during the one hour session.
