COTA delays opening until noon

The Circuit of Americas has announced that it has delayed opening its gates to spectators until noon due to inclement weather in Austin, Texas. Practice two for this weekend’s United States Grand Prix was cancelled on Friday due to severe thunderstorms and conditions are little improved today. FP3 had been scheduled to start at 10.00 hours local time [16.00 hours UK time], with qualifying then following three hours later at 13.00 hours local time [19.00 hours UK time]. Further updates are expected in due course. For the safety of our fans and employees, today's opening has been delayed until noon.
