Daniel Abt loses points finish

Daniel Abt has been demoted to eleventh place after being given a post-race time penalty for a pit lane incident during the race. The Abt Shaeffler Audi Sport driver finished the race in ninth place, having started the race in eleventh, but has been penalised for an unsafe release during his pit stop. The punishment is a ten second time penalty, which demotes the German pilot from ninth down to eleventh place. Stephane Sarrazin will take ninth place for Venturi, whilst Robin Frijns will now take a point for the Andretti team on his Formula E debut. To view our updated race results, click here.
