Palmer confirmed in second Lotus F1 for 2016 The British speedy, Jolyon Palmer will make his full F1 entrance with Lotus 2016 following being announced as the team’s second driver for the 2016 season on Friday. He joined Lotus in a reserve driver role at the beginning of the season after winning the GP2 Series title in 2014, and has taken part in ten F1 practice sessions for the team so far this year. “Lotus F1 Team is pleased to announce that Third and Reserve driver Jolyon Palmer has been promoted to a race seat for the 2016 season, completing the team’s driver line-up alongside Pastor Maldonado,” a statement from the team read. “I’m obviously delighted that I’ll be racing...
