Pirelli launches fan vote to decide ‘ultrasoft’ colour

Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli has launched a fan vote campaign to decide the colour of the sidewall of its proposed ‘ultrasoft’ next year. Pirelli will expand its range next year, to allow teams greater flexibility as the FIA plans for tyre choice to become more open. It has now launched a campaign via social media, inviting fans to vote for their colour preference for the all-new compound. It will join Pirelli's supersoft, soft, medium, hard, intermediate and wet compounds from 2016.   Pirelli motorsport director Paul Hembery said: “Interacting with fans has always been important to us.
