Rosberg heads first wet practice at Austin
Weather played its role in first practice at Austin, but with the weather expected to remain unpredictable throughout the weekend, drivers still went out to get a feel for the conditions. Nico Rosberg eventually came out fastest. The session got off to an easy start, with everybody understandably taking it easy out on track. Especially in the beginning of the session there was standing water in some areas and a very greasy looking surface overall. After the early installation laps on full wets, it took only 7 minutes until there was a switch to intermediates.
