Rossi ends USA's eight-year driver wait

Alexander Rossi will become the first American Formula One driver to race on home soil for eight years when he lines up for the Manor Marussia team in this weekend's United States Grand Prix. The 24-year-old Californian took part in practice with the Caterham team in 2013, but is relishing his chance to play a full role in this year's event at the Circuit of the Americas. "This is my fourth year here and in each of the four years I've talked about what a great facility this is, what a great venue this is and how proud I am to be an American," he said on Thursday.
