Juan Pablo Montoya to test for Porsche in WEC

The Porsche World Endurance Championship team have confirmed that F1 race winner Juan Pablo Montoya will test for them in Bahrain next month. Montoya, who raced for Williams and McLaren between 2001 & 2006 and won 7 races, will drive the Porsche 919 Hybrid at the Sakhir International Circuit on November 22. Speaking to Sportscar365, Montoya said that the test was ‘something I'd like to do', as he attended the Circuit of The Americas race in Austin with Porsche last month. He will drive on the test day, the day after the season finale at the circuit on Saturday, November 21. There is speculation that Montoya may now be a direct shoe-in to replace Nico Hulkenberg in the third Porsche...
