Kevin Magnussen's Contract Won't Be Renewed

It has been announced that McLaren will not be renewing their reserve driver, Kevin Magnussen’s contract at the end of the season. Magnussen has been with the McLaren F1 team for two years, one of them being a full-time seat in 2014. This will leave Magnussen will little choice or opportunity to drive in Formula 1 next season. Stoffel Vandoorne, the newly crowned GP2 champion is set to take on the reserve driver position behind Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso next year. In September, racing director Eric Boullier revealed that he would not inhibit Kevin moving to another team next year.
