Maldonado Says He Shouldn't of Left Williams
Pastor Maldonado has admitted that his rash move to join Lotus at the end of 2013 has hurt his Formula 1 career. Maldonado left Williams after he accused the team of tampering with his tire pressures at the 2013 United States Grand Prix. His 2013 season with Williams was disappointing while Lotus, that same year, were challenging for podiums. However, the change in regulations and engines stumped Lotus while Williams benefited from the upcoming season with a Mercedes engine deal. He says his choice has not been beneficial.
