Perez hails ‘amazing' second Force India podium

Sergio Perez has described finishing the Russian Grand Prix in third place as 'amazing', scoring his second podium with the Force India team. The Mexican started the race from seventh on the grid but made up one place on the opening lap when his team-mate Nico Hulkenberg spun and was collected by Marcus Ericsson. Perez pitted to change to the soft tyre during the second Safety Car period, after Romain Grosjean's crash. He did well to conserve his tyres and make it to the end without stopping again, but he did lose out to Valtteri Bottas and Kimi Raikkonen on the penultimate lap. However, the two collided on the last lap of the race and that left the door open for Perez to claim back third...
