Ecclestone announces new three year pirelli tyre deal

F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone has unexpectedly signed a new Pirelli deal for the next three years. The Italian manufacturer entered the competitive sport in 2010, and has been hanging about ever since. Their had been speculation that Michelin may step up in 2017 Ecclestone just hinted to the BBC that Pirelli is likely to stay in the sport for the next three years. The F1 supremo was seen shaking hands upon a three year Pirelli deal, with the Pirelli chairman, this was seen on BBC TV. More to follow…
