Sainz released from hospital after Russian GP crash

Carlos Sainz has been released from hospital following his Russian Grand Prix practice crash, as the team suspects a brake balance issue may have contributed to the incident. The Spaniard is hoping to be able to pass an FIA medical examination on Sunday morning that will allow him to take part in the Sochi race, with race stewards having given him permission to take part. But he admits that he will have to see how he feels in the morning prior to deciding what happens. "My back and my neck are just a bit sore from the accident, but I'm totally ready," he said. "Hopefully tomorrow I will wake up in a good shape and maybe I can try and race – this is definitely the intention!...
