Toro Rosso release statement about Carlos Sainz crash

Russian Grand Prix – Scuderia Toro Rosso have released a statement about Carlos Sainz' condition following a heavy crash for the Spaniard in FP3 in Sochi. Sainz crashed heavily during the FP3 session, hitting the TecPro barriers hard and damaging the Armco barriers directly behind – such was the severity of the impact. The FP3 session was red flagged and not restarted as Sainz was extricated and brought to hospital via helicopter.
