Rosberg cruises to Russian GP pole

Mercedes AMG Petronas Nico Rosberg claimed his second successive pole position after topping qualifying for the Russian Grand Prix. Rosberg posted a time of 1:37.113 on his first flying lap and it was never headed, with Lewis Hamilton running wide at Turn 13 before heading to the pits. Hamilton had set a time quick enough for second position and will line-up alongside Rosberg on the front row of the grid. Valtteri Bottas clocked the third best time for Williams, ahead of Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel. Kimi Räikkönen was fifth, with Force India sixth and seventh courtesy of Nico Hülkenberg and Sergio Pérez. Romain Grosjean was eighth quickest while Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo...
