Ecclestone none the wiser over Red Bull future

Bernie Ecclestone says he is none the wise over whether Red Bull Racing will continue in Formula 1 next season following reports its last chance for an engine deal has been scuppered. According to Auto Motor Und Sport, Ferrari has withdrawn its deal of a supply for the 2016 season after Red Bull rejected its original offer of a 'lesser' specification engine also given to Haas and Sauber, and Ferrari refused to offer factory-standard specification over fears it would arm a key rival. With Ferrari seemingly Red Bull's last obvious chance of an engine supply, the Austrian company's threat of withdrawing its four-time world championship winning team now appears increasingly likely.
