Wehrlein optimistic over F1 chances
– DTM championship leader and Mercedes reserve driver Pascal Wehrlein says he remains hopeful of landing a Formula 1 race seat for the 2016 season.Wehrlein, 20, holds a 37-point lead over nearest rival Edoardo Mortara ahead of next weekend's DTM finale at Hockenheim, with a maximum of 50 on offer.Alongside his DTM race duties, Wehrlein has completed multiple Formula 1 test outings with Mercedes and supplied team Force India this season.Wehrlein has been heavily linked to a seat at Manor Marussia, with the team recently announcing that it will be switching from Ferrari to Mercedes power units."I hope that I can have a cockpit in Formula 1 next year," said Wehrlein."But...
