Ecclestone hints at Formula 1 ownership change

Formula 1 CEO Bernie Ecclestone says that he is in discussions with three parties over the potential sale of the sport before the end of the year. CVC Capital Partners has held a controlling stake in the sport for a decade but Ecclestone suggested at the Camp Beckenbauer Global Summit that there could be a change on the horizon. "There are shareholders at the moment in such a position where they have to lose some of their shares or all of them shortly," he explained.
