Possible EU Intervention with Formula 1

Reports state that the Formula 1’s governing body and prize money reward system is going to be investigated by the European Union. This is due to a complaint from the Sauber and Sahara Force India teams. They have criticized that Formula 1 is “being run like a cartel,” and have formally sent a complaint in on anti-competition grounds. This conflict supposedly covers many issues, including, that larger teams have more weight in dictating what is ruled in the F1 Strategy group and how prize funds are distributed.
