Haas F1 Team confirms Grosjean as lead driver

The worst kept secret in the paddock is now in the public domain: Romain Grosjean will spearhead the all new Haas F1 Team in their Formula 1 debut season. The Swiss-born Frenchman will move from Lotus, where he has spent his entire F1 career, dating back to the Enstone based Renault works team in 2009, and take up the seat as Haas F1 Team's 'lead driver'. 'I liked the approach of Gene (Haas) and Gunther (Steiner) because it was different to what another F1 team would do,' Grosjean said at Haas' Kannapolis base in North Carolina.
