Force India, Sauber lodge EU complaint over F1 governance

Force India has confirmed it and fellow team Sauber has lodged a formal complaint with the European Union regarding the governance of Formula 1, specifically the distribution of revenues. The teams have written to the European Union competitions commission over what it deems to be unfair financial bias towards the five largest teams in F1 – Ferrari, Mercedes, Red Bull, McLaren and Williams. Targeting the outright owners of F1 – CVC Capital Partners -, a statement from Force India confirmed that the complaint has been submitted but will make no further comment until it is reviewed.
