Lotus pleased with Suzuka result after challenging weekend

Lotus deputy team principal Federico Gastaldi says seventh and eighth for Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado in Japan was a 'great result' after a tough weekend. Ongoing financial problems meant some of its freight only arrived at Suzuka late on Thursday and the team was also locked out of its hospitality unit. Lotus CEO Matthew Carter recently said Renault will announce that it is taking over the team next week, with some reports saying it could be confirmed as early as Monday.
