Hamilton matches Senna with 41st career win in Japanese GP

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton took his 41st career victory in the 2015 F1 Japanese Grand Prix on Sunday at Suzuka, to match the late great Ayrton Senna and further extend his Championship lead. Hamilton, who lined-up second on the grid, grabbed the lead at the start, passing team-mate and pole sitter, Nico Rosberg into Turn 2, with the German dropping back to fourth as a result. Hamilton could then control from the front and was never troubled en-route to his eighth win of the season and his very first at Suzuka. It was also the perfect response for Mercedes after a below-par weekend in Singapore. More to follow…
