Daniil Kvyat escapes serious injury in scary qualifying crash

Japanese Grand Prix – Red Bull Racing driver Daniil Kvyat has walked away from a huge qualifying crash at Suzuka.The Russian driver was taking part in the closing minutes of the Q3 session when he just allowed his left wheels to just glance the grass on the left hand side of the track. Approaching the fast right hander into the hairpin, Kvyat's RB11 went off and, with only a small run off area at that location, smashed into the tyre barrier. The impact threw the car back around and flipped the car through a roll before landing right side up.
