Palmer confident of 2016 Lotus chance
Lotus F1 Team Lotus reserve driver Jolyon Palmer remains optimistic that he will be able to race for the squad in 2016, alongside the already confirmed Pastor Maldonado. Palmer has participated in several practice sessions for Lotus this year and with Romain Grosjean's future uncertain, amid speculation that he will be moving to the new Haas team, Palmer is confident that he can propel himself into contention for a 2016 drive. "I’m still hoping to be racing here next year so my aim is to show the team what I can do," Palmer told BBC Sport.
