Kvyat tops timesheets as rain interrupts play again
CLICK HERE for the full Japanese Grand Prix FP2 result Daniil Kvyat has ended the first day of free practice for the Japanese Grand Prix atop the timesheets after wet conditions continued to curtail significant mileage at the Suzuka circuit. With persistent rain blighting FP1 earlier in the day, a damp surface and drizzle greeted the drivers again for this afternoon's FP2 session, only for the conditions to then worsen over the course of the 90min session. With the leaden skies failing to clear before the chequered flag, it was Kvyat's 1min 48.277secs lap time on intermediate rubber from earlier in the session that would see him end the day on top for Red Bull, ahead of Mercedes' Nico...
