Sainz: Max has shown his ‘bad boy' role

Toro Rosso driver Carlos Sainz has said that he will not change his racing methods, labelling himself as a ‘team player' following team-mate Max Verstappen's ‘bad boy' role in Singapore. Verstappen raised eyebrows at the Singapore Grand Prix when he refused a team order to let team-mate Sainz overtake him to allow the team to challenge for more points. Verstappen had been following Force India's Sergio Perez for several laps but failed to find a way past, prompting the Toro Rosso team to instruct the 17-year-old to allow Sainz past to attempt an overtake.
