Haas F1 to make driver announcement
– Formula 1's new-for-2016 team, Haas, will announce its first driver during a press conference at its Kannapolis base on Tuesday.The Ferrari-associated outfit will make its Formula 1 debut next season and it has now confirmed that the identity of its first driver will be revealed at a press conference next week.GPUpdate.net understands that current Lotus driver Romain Grosjean and Ferrari reserve pilot Esteban Gutiérrez are the primary contenders for the seats.Haas is set to be the first new squad to enter Formula 1 since Hispania, Virgin Racing and Lotus Racing were given entries ahead of the 2010 season.
