Reports – Jenson Button to announce F1 retirement at Suzuka

Reports have emerged on Monday suggesting that Jenson Button is to announce his retirement from Formula 1 after sixteen seasons in the sport. According to the UK's Telegraph, the McLaren driver is set to announce that he will be withdrawing from the sport at the end of this season. The announcement could be made this weekend in Japan, where Button has formed an emotional connection with the country and its people. Button is married to Japanese model Jessica Michibata, and has adopted the country as a second home having also spent years racing for the Honda racing team.
