Daniel Ricciardo: “We can be proud of what we did”
Daniel Ricciardo felt the Singapore Grand Prix was his Infiniti Red Bull Racing team’s best opportunity to secure a win in 2015, and was proud to come so close with second place on Sunday. The Australian gave Sebastian Vettel a good run for his win, even if ultimately he was not in a position to challenge his former team-mate for the victory, and felt the deployment of the safety cars ended any hope of making strategy work in his favour. “I think this was our best chance of a win and we got close, so we can be proud of what we did,” said Ricciardo. “We have made the most of our opportunities here. “At the start Seb just went away and then I was coming back to him and if it...
