Ferrari to apologise after breaking through security

Ferrari have offered to "send a written unconditional apology" to Singapore Grand Prix officials and security staff at the Marina Bay circuit after an incident at the end of the race. With Sebastian Vettel winning his third race of the season, Ferrari mechanics broke through a security barrier, pushing security officials aside in the process, in order to celebrate under the podium. The matter was reported to the stewards by the secretary of the event and the team's sporting director, Massimo Rivola, was ordered to explain his teams actions during a meeting.
