Raikkonen: Third not ideal, but I ll take it
Kimi Raikkonen says he had no chance to fight for the victory during the Singapore Grand Prix, and that while third was not ideal, it was still “pretty good”. Raikkonen lined-up third on the grid at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, despite reporting he was not happy with his Ferrari. He continued to have problems in the race as well, and although not able to go at a similar pace to team-mate and race winner, Sebastian Vettel or runner-up Daniel Ricciardo, he was able to bring it home in P3 and take the final place on the rostrum, the 79th podium of his career and his first since Bahrain. “I must say Friday was fine for me [here] but yesterday we struggled for whatever reason and I...
