Ferrari asked to apologise following Parc Ferme infraction

Ferrari has been asked to apologise for the parc ferme incident in Singapore but no further action will be taken. The Italian team had been summoned to the stewards following Sebastian Vettel’s victory at Marina Bay for a breach of article 12.1.1.i of the International Sporting Code, with the behaviour of some members of the Ferrari team said to have behaved ‘in an inappropriate manner’. Mechanics reportedly pushed track officials during the celebrations beneath the podium as they looked to join in, and the FIA have now asked for Team Principal Maurizio Arrivabene to write an unconditional apology for the incident.
