Sainz Jr. set to reach Q3 before crash

– Carlos Sainz Jr. says he was comfortably on course to reach Q3 during qualifying for the Singapore Grand Prix, before he clipped the wall.Sainz Jr. was completing his final run of the second session when he ran wide exiting Turn 19, hit the wall and damaged his Toro Rosso."A disappointing way to end what was being a good qualifying session," said Sainz Jr."We knew we had a car good enough to get into Q3 – my lap was actually three or four tenths quicker than the limit to get into the top 10.
