Ricciardo eyes battle for victory

Red Bull/Getty Images Daniel Ricciardo says Red Bull can challenge for victory during the Singapore Grand Prix, after he matched his best qualifying result in Formula 1 with second place. Ricciardo finished behind only former team-mate Sebastian Vettel in qualifying at Marina Bay and reckons that he can provide a test to the German in race trim, as he chases his first win in over a year. "Qualifying was exciting and to have no Mercedes up here [in the top three] is a surprise, so we will definitely try to capitalise on that," he said.
