Nasr handed reprimand for track limits breach

Felipe Nasr has earned his first reprimand of the season for not following the right track limits procedures in practice for the Singapore Grand Prix. The FIA has introduced a line and bollard system at the opening sequence of corners of the Marina Bay circuit to ensure drivers cannot gain an advantage by running wide. Drivers are supposed to keep to the right of a special arrowed marker board before rejoining the circuit at Turn 3 – something Nasr did not do. A statement from the stewards said: “The driver admitted he had not passed to the right of the block.
