First blood to Rosberg in Singapore GP practice

Nico Rosberg was quickest for Mercedes in first practice for the Singapore Grand Prix at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. The German put in the opening timed lap of the session and remained fastest throughout, improving his time and ending practice at the top of the timesheets. Rosberg's 1:47.995 proved to be unbeatable, with team-mate Lewis Hamilton and Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo three tenths further back. Sebastian Vettel was fourth despite a late off-track excursion at Turn 4. Kimi Raikkonen was fifth, with his best attempt being just under eight tenths slower than Rosberg's time.
