Singapore GP: Rosberg quickest in FP1 as Rossi crashes

Nico Rosberg led Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton in the opening Friday practice session for the Singapore Grand Prix. The German driver led from start to finish, setting the first timed lap of the day and never surrendering first position until the end of the 90 minutes of running. Rosberg was the only driver who lapped in the 1:47s, finishing slightly over three tenths of a second ahead of Hamilton. Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo was a close third, lifting his hopes of a good result on a track where his team expects to be able to put on a strong showing. Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen were fourth and fifth fastest respectively for Ferrari ahead of the Williams of Valtteri Bottas. Toro...
