Ricciardo unfazed amid Red Bull engine talks

Daniel Ricciardo says he has no preference on Red Bull’s 2016 engine supplier as long as it provides a competitive package. The Australian has been hamstrung by an unreliable and down on power Renault power unit, which has halted his progress this year after a breakthrough 2014 season. Renault’s deficiencies has seen the Red Bull squad begin a search for a new engine supplier after instigating a contract termination with the French manufacturer a year early. A move to Ferrari power units appears to be the team’s most likely option after Mercedes decided against supplying engines to one of its rivals.
