One Year Rewind – Hamilton soars in Singapore

Lewis Hamilton scored his seventh win of the 2014 F1 season at the Singapore Grand Prix, helping the British driver to take over the lead in the drivers’ championship. Hamilton narrowly took pole position on Saturday, edging out Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg in Q3. Daniel Ricciardo and Sebastian Vettel were third and fourth on the grid for Red Bull, ahead of Ferrari's Fernando Alonso and Williams' Felipe Massa. Kimi Raikkonen, Valtteri Bottas, Kevin Magnussen and Daniil Kvyat completed the top 10. Jenson Button just missed out on a spot in the final segment of qualifying, settling for 11th.
