Hulkenberg thinks Force India can beat Williams

Nico Hulkenberg believes his Force India team can beat rival Williams in this weekend's Singapore Grand Prix thanks to the nature of the circuit. Although Force India could not match for the Grove team in the previous race in Italy, Hulkenberg is convinced the characteristics of the Marina Bay circuit will boost his car's speed. "I think so," said Hulkenberg on Thursday when asked if Force India could challenge Williams. "If you look back to Hungary, which is more similar to this track, we were right behind Valtteri [Bottas]'s gearbox before the front wing fell off.
