No plans to alter Singapore schedule say officials

Officials in Singapore say there are no plans to alter or cancel any of this weekends proceedings despite the haze that hangs over the country and racetrack. Pollution levels have been registered in the ‘unhealthy’ levels in recent days, but despite some other local events being cancelled as a result of the haze, the Grand Prix this weekend was not under any threat. 'Based on the current PSI levels, there are no plans to amend the published racing and entertainment programme,' said a statement from the Singapore Grand Prix officials.
