FIA: Closed cockpits must be for all

– The FIA Drivers' Commission believes that any closed cockpit solution implemented in Formula 1 should be "simple and affordable enough" for all levels of single-seater racing.Fresh concerns over driver safety have been raised following the deaths of Formula 1 driver Jules Bianchi and IndyCar racer Justin Wilson, who both suffered severe head injuries.The Drivers' Commission, which is led by two-time Formula 1 World Champion Emerson Fittipaldi, met in Paris to discuss the issue, along with other safety-related subjects."A central theme of today's safety discussion surrounds the concept of improving cockpit safety for single-seater cars," read an FIA...
