McLaren eyeing positive weekend

They are coming off two extremely difficult race weekends, but McLaren are confident their MP4-30 package will be better suited to the Marina Bay Street Circuit. Having claimed a double points finish at the Hungarian GP, the Woking-based squad slipped backwards at the high-speed Spa and Monza circuits as they left those venues empty handed and with plenty of grid penalties. However, McLaren always knew they were going to struggle at those venues, but the high-downforce Singapore track should give them a better chance of being higher up the grid.
