Force India will continue pushing to safeguard fifth place

Force India says it will continue to develop its cars in a bid to secure fifth position in the championship as the midfield battle intensifies. The Silverstone-based team edged out Lotus in the Italian Grand Prix, scoring 14 points as it moved back to fifth place in the constructors' championship. Team principal Vijay Mallya, looking ahead to the Singapore Grand Prix, said that the team will have to score strong points to stay ahead of its rivals.
